20min|max underwent its fulminant festivalfinish. More than 600 visitors "stormed" Ingolstadt Theatre to see the last 15 short films of the programme. Sascha Römisch and Ole Micha Spörkel (both actors at Ingolstadt Theatre) moderated the evening.
The final festivalday lived up to its name "long night of the short films". It was explicitely after midnight, when the official programme endet to pass into the award ceremony and finally end with a party and DJ Aektschn Aendy.

The winners of the 3rd issue of 20min|max 2009 are:
Best regional offspring film: "Monster" by Markus Siebler
Award of the MedienCampus Bayern e.V. (film seminar)
Best documentary film: "Ich will ja nur lebendig ankommen" by Ariane Schröder
xhoch4-Award, prize money: 1.000 Euros
Best artistic film: "Der Conny ihr Pony", by Robert Pohle and Martin Hentze
Award of the AUDI AG, prize money: 1.000 Euros

Award of the IFG Ingolstadt GmbH, prize money: 1.000 Euro
Congratulations to all winners! And many thanks to the Jury for intensive screening and pulsating discussions.

Credits can not only be found at the end of movies. Also within the reverberation of a film festival, the list of credits mounts to a noticeable number.
We would like to thank the directors and actors who came to visit 20min|max at April 17th: Stephan Elsenbruch and Raphael Wallner ("Das Gesicht"), Gerde Leopold and Axel Hartwig ("Die Mauer"), Markus Siebler ("Monster"), Christian Effenberger ("Bad habit, little rabbit"), Robert Pohle ("Der Conny ihr Pony"), Aron Lehmann, Paul Kaiser and Anton Gruber ("Liebe Gemeinde"), Ariane Schröder ("Ich will ja nur lebendig ankommen"), Alejandro Baptista ("Visuelais"), Daniel Rohm and Eileen Byrne ("Mena") and Felix and Victor Kraus ("homesick").
We would also like to express our gratitude towards a wonderfully attentive audience, the technical departments of Ingolstadt Theatre, our moderators, the members of the youth club embodying the trailer-characters in a lovely way, many thanks to cooperation partners and sponsors and above all thank you film makers for sending your work to 20min|max.

20min|max will go on in 2010. How, when and where? Soon more at www.20minmax.de.
Thank you and good-bye.
Life design, interpersonal relationships, subliminal, daydreams, medial seducement and questions of identity have been presented by the films of the third festival day. Microcosm and macrocosm, self-concept vs. perception by others. Ego and super-ego.
And inbetween all those levels, we were happy to welcome directos of those works: Alejandro Baptista ("Visuelais") delivered insight to achivebility of thoughts and the "Mena"-Crew (Eileen Byrne / director, Daniel Rohm / production, Oliver Kahl / assistant director) delighted with excting details to fitting, cast and production requirement.
The episode at the Audi Feature Cinema ended, but 20min|max goes on for another day at Ingolstadt Theatre: April 17th, 9 p.m., award ceremony and party included. The long night of the shorts will be entertained by Sascha Römisch and Ole Micha Spörkel.
With pleasant anticipation - the festival-team
It was the most "arty" festival day that took place on April 15th at the Audi Feature Theatre - and that earmarked: half time. Having the directors of the most artistic films as guests was a splendid fortuity. Those directly or indirectly broached the issue of the rivalry between means of expression. Thank you Gerda Leopold, Felix and Victor Kraus for coming, for nice conversations and respondence to an interested audience. Is it painting that comes closest to veracity, is it photography, animation or film in general? We don´t know and won´t determine a thing.
Many thanks to Aurel Bereuter who perfectly got audience and directors out of their shells, nattered about the fifth dimension or an artist´s breakfast. He will also be leading through the programme today, April 16th at Audi Feature Theatre.
What do we expext today? Quite a lot of interpersonal relationships, intercultural issues, phantastic things and trivia brushed under the carpet (acarines and taboos) - and insider knowledge about the advertising industry.

Onward it goes!
The kick-off was on at Audi Feature Theatre, the festival take-off took place in a sold-out cinema. The third issue of 20min|max is in full swing!
Bettina Wodianka (M 94,5 / Filmfabrik) presented the first of four shortfilm evenings. At April 15th and 16th, actor Aurel Bereuter will be leading through the programme.
We were very happy about the visit of Sebastian Binz and Peter Stein, who presented their work "Tony Terror" in their roles as director and producer and were standing up to questioning. "Tony Terror" is an animated film about the University of Applied Terrorism, where stereotype terror-aspirants from various nations are trained in the fields of killing. After all, bazooka, poison gas and swords turn against the terrorists. The drill instructor, a multi-national creature, rules the roost in a phantasy language ("wa waa wala waa"), that entertained the 20min|max-audience to a high extend.
At April 15th, 8 p.m. / Audi Feature Cinema, we will show short movies about nails, accursed cameras, a fatal game of Scrabble, phantasmagorias, a fastidious rabbit, a specialist in motors, a cat-child and the portrait of a complex art work.

Hello and good day. It is done. Several hundred films have been screened and evaluated and the programme for 20min|max is complete. Thirtythree short films are distributed to four evenings. Very soon, the programme will be online.
All film makers who sent their short movies already received an acceptance / denial via e-mail. (In case of any questions, in the event of a lost mail or problems with the spam-filter (20minmax@xhoch4.de), feel free to contact us at +49 (0)89.66 064 89 74.)
We are very much looking forward to the festival.
Hello movie-universe. Since the flood of movies does not stop, since short movies are brought here personally and since some even approach an international an thus hardly predictable way by mail, we hereby extend the closing date: new entry deadline is: 2nd of March 2009
Realizing, that today is the 25th of February and detecting, that the entry deadline is fixed 28th of February, means that there are two days left until time is up - or that there is a half day left for cinematic masterpieces. You have to make up your mind - now.
We would prefer version 2.
Very well then: action! The rendering farms are dunged and the fountain of ideas already sparkles.
20min|max is a short film festival - and the name says it all: movies of various genres that don´t exceed a length of 20 minutes, were shown from April 14th to 17th 2009 in Ingolstadt (Bavaria/near Munich).
After 20min|max-festivals in 2006 and 2007, the "long nights of the short movies 2009" took place as a four-day-festival for the first time:
14th/15th/16th of April 2009: Audi Feature Theater at the Audi Forum Ingolstadt
17th of April 2009: Ingolstadt Theatre
Actors of the Ingolstadt Theatre were leading through the program.
Submission ended at February 28th 2009.
Three prizes amounting to 1.000 Euros and a workshop participation were awarded.
